PUBLIC TOURS

We love welcoming registered guests and sharing our ‘campus classroom’ through a thoughtfully designed, guided, after school tour. Guests have the opportunity to explore learning spaces, student projects, jungle groves and hear the history and philosophy of teaching and learning the ‘Green School Way’. These tours are limited to 35 guests and must be booked in advance. We invite you to click the button below to check the schedule and availability and hope to see you soon! All proceeds from tours go towards supporting our young changemakers and their projects.

TOUR FAQ’S

General Information

Our primary focus is the safe and respectful learning environment for our students. We therefore kindly request your cooperation with our tour guidelines:

  • Tour participants are limited to immediate family
  • Reservations Required
  • ID will be required to enter Green School
When to arrive?
We strongly recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of your appointment for check-in and registration. If for any reason you arrive later than the start of the tour, you may be asked to reschedule for another day. Please identify yourself as ‘Admissions Tour‘ at the Welcome Desk
What to bring?
The walk around Green School will be an adventure. We are located on a steep ravine, so be prepared with the right walking shoes or sandals as we will be walking on rocks, and going up and down many steps. We don’t recommend bringing heavy backpacks or luggage. We suggest wearing light clothes and bringing an umbrella or raincoat, especially during the rainy season.
What to expect?

Our week day tours run on a normal school day, so there are plenty of opportunities to see our campus structures and learning environment from the outside. So as not to disturb the learning programme, our week day tours do not go inside our wall-less classrooms, but you will get to see our famous Millennial Bridge, Sangkep (assembly hall), walk through our iconic Heart of School building and much more.

Is The Tour Child-Friendly
We understand that different families have different expectations. Our school campus is rugged by design and intention, and has steep inclines and uneven surfaces, so please plan accordingly if you are bringing small children and babies. The Green School tour is a walking tour but pushchairs are not possible around our campus, although you may leave your pushchair at our welcome centre. We have many families who visit our campus with children of all ages, but please be advised that it can be a hot and humid experience and we highly recommend bringing sunblock, a hat, and refillable water bottle. The tour at the weekend is more child-friendly as there are more opportunities to stop and pause.
Photography & Filming

You will be advised when you are allowed to take photos during your tour. Please respect that we are a school and refrain from taking photos of students or staff from close-up or from afar at any point during the tour.
