Middle School students dove into the deep end when the hands-on, practical project of building a bridge was presented to them. Matt Bell, an industrial designer, worked with students to engage them fully in the process of building a bridge. From idea conception to bamboo selection, to material fabrication and final construction, all hands and minds were on deck. The bridge is located just down stream from the Millennium Bridge, connecting the west side of the campus to the east side of the campus. A ceremony will be held early in the new year to bless the bridge and the Middle School students will be in charge of maintaining the integrity of the bridge for years to come.
