Green School Weekly News

Hi everyone, Bio Bus team here!

As many of you may know last weekend was the Sustainable Solutions conference at Green School. The Bio Bus team was invited to host a table, pitch the project and participate on the panel “Energy Revived”.

On Saturday May 30, 2015 we set up our stand in the heart of school. People came by to get information about the project and of course about Bio-diesel. Later that day the project pitches started. Adam, a grade 12 student, was the speaker on behalf of the Bio-Bus team and told the story of starting this initiative.

Sunday May 31, 2015 was an even more eventful day. There were many visitors at the Bio Bus table and we were able to share the project with a broad audience. Adam again represented the team on a panel where he sat alongside Dr. William Sabandar from Accelerated Development of Renewable Energy Task Force, Mr. Tomohiro Hamakawa from Kopernik, and Mr. Thomas B. Fricke from Sustainable Trade and Consulting. He pitched the project we have been working on for 6 months now, and was outstanding in representing Green School community.

This weekend was a huge success and we are happy that everything went well. The Bio Bus is on Facebook now. So like the page to know what is going on with the Bio Bus! Like our page. For any further inquiries please do not hesitate to contact the Bio Bus team at
