From <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/bnmag.www.greenschool.org\/green-lead\/2016\/12\/21\/how-20-hens-hatched-a-student-enterprise\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the chicken project<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; a project where grade 4 students incorporated math, science, and enterprise together to produce free-range eggs, to the Bio-Bus project, where students created a solution \u00a0to reduce the black market in used-cooking oil, to the most recent project &#8211; Operation Rain or Shine &#8211; a project that aims to get the school off-the-grid.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Project OROS (Operation Rain Or Shine) in Green School Bali\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7RhrcQMDnUo?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students are making changes, large and small, everyday, towards a better future (and not waiting until they hit the \u2018real world\u2019 to start doing this). In fact, so many projects exist in Green School, that we thought it was time to create a central \u2018hive\u2019, to support, coordinate and curate student projects.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Green School&#039;s &#039;Rise To Surf&#039; Program\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qXVgJgFAh4g?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Right across the campus and across every age and grade, over 100 real projects are underway right now. Each project has been captured and carefully aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Seeing for the first time, how the projects, large and small, can make a contribution to some of the world\u2019s most critical needs is an exciting step forward for the\u00a0School.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2187\" style=\"width: 985px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bnmag.www.greenschool.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/WID07825.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2187\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2187\" src=\"http:\/\/bnmag.www.greenschool.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/WID07825-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"One of Green School projects registered in the Green Project Hub.\" width=\"975\" height=\"650\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2187\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">One of Green School projects registered in the Green Project Hub.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The newly opened Green Project Office is a beautiful bamboo yurt, centrally located on campus. \u00a0It is a hot-spot for connecting and for creativity. It is also the place to go for tools, support, sourcing expertise, mentorship and for connecting one project to another. Powering student projects is the project bank facility, where students and classes can apply for micro-loans and micro-grants for particular projects.
