Green School at Astechnova Energy Conference

Project Operation Rain or Shine (OROS), the biggest renewable energy project at Green School Bali to date, has spread its wings beyond the school’s jungle campus and is sending a message of sustainable energy to the world. The project, which is funded by the Zayed Future Energy Prize, has become a truly community-based project and I’m honored to be part of the team. We have been working hard to build collaborations and partnerships with various sustainable energy stakeholders, companies, academics, sustainable entrepreneurs and more.

On November 1-2, 2017, I had the opportunity to share the innovative project at the Astechnova International Energy Conference 2017 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. People from all over the world participated in this prestigious conference to present their research and discuss the Innovative Sustainable System of Energy – Water – Food (E-W-F) nexus. Among others, there were researchers, practitioners, and academia from the USA, Japan, Sweden, Canada, Netherlands, South Korea, United Arab Emirates and my home country, Indonesia.
