“The LSP program is a cherished part of our school community. We work together to evolve and improve the program year-after-year for our students. Without your support, we would not be where we are today with our mission of educating Indonesian changemakers, and we are immensely grateful to our donor community both within the school and outside

LESLIE MEDEMA – HEAD OF CAMPUS

Living the original vision of John and Cynthia Hardy, Green School Bali has always been committed to supporting Indonesian students through our Local Scholarship Program (LSP). This school year, the LSP currently offers scholarships to 28 students and has celebrated 25 graduating LSP alumni.

FEATURED LOCAL SCHOLAR STORY

Gede Nathanjaya, or known in our community as Gusde, is a pioneer scholar who is currently a senior in High School.

Gusde has always had a passion for science and a fondness for engineering.  That passion grew even more when he was in Green School Middle School (grade 8).

Whilst learning about renewable energy, Gusde decided to make a stair that could generate electricity with each step. Find out more about Gusde and his project through this video.

We look forward to celebrating Gusde’s graduation this year and to see his Green Stone Project, which will take his learning from grade 8 to a whole new level.
