Of all the various developments orbiting around Green School, perhaps none is so centrally linked with the school ethos or as vitally connected to our core goals as GreenCamp. Aside from sharing a philosophy and campus with Green School, GreenCamp gives us the ability to expand our reach by offering people who don’t live in Bali the chance to experience the magic this place has to offer. GreenCamp offers kids camps, family camps, corporate building programs and school programs with the aim of educating sustainable leadership through outdoor adventure, challenge and discovery.
GreenCamp has established international school partnerships with United World College Singapore, Lycee Francais, Ivanhoe Grammar School Australia and iCAN School Cambodia amongst others. School programs are geared towards primary, middle school and high school students seeking a physically and mentally demanding skill-building experience with a focus on sustainability and outdoor experiential learning. Have a look at their Prospectus to find our more about their School Camps.
Last year GreenCamp also launched Green Institute and is offering courses for adults around green leadership, sustainable architecture and agriculture. The first course they launched is called Bamboo U- a bamboo build and design course facilitated in partnership with the design firm Ibuku that is behind the design of all of our bamboo buildings.
GreenCamp can accommodate 90 people in their Yurt Village and their newest accommodation the Lodge. GreenCamp is built around wastewater and organic gardens with shaded outdoor learning areas, a workshop space, plant nursery, compost station, and a yoga studio shared with Green School above the Ayung river.
If you would like to book a camp please fill out a Pre-Camp Survey and within one week you will receive a customised GreenCamp based on your school’s interests and goals.
