Live from Green School!

We’re delighted to unveil our new and improved website, www.GreenSchool.org. Designed by a team of talented and dedicated staff that has come to Green School from all over the globe, the site features all new interactive content, including an introductory video and an image gallery boasting photos of our ever growing campus. We are also pleased to include samples from Green School’s innovative curriculum, extensive biographies of our faculty and staff, and an admissions page with a user-friendly online application.

Opening in September 2008, Green School offers an International Curriculum and is currently accepting applications for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. Our beautiful eight-hectare Kul-Kul Campus is located in Sibang Kaja, Bali, 15 minutes north of Denpasar or 20 minutes south of Ubud. Please contact our Admissions department at admissions@greenschool.org for more information or to schedule a tour of the School. We invite your feedback! We aim to make this site as vibrant, interactive and informative as possible.

“You must teach your children that the ground beneath their feet is the ashes of your grandfathers. So that they will respect the land, tell your children that the earth is rich with the lives of our kin. Teach your children what we have taught our children; that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves.”

~Native American Wisdom

Green People

Each issue, we feature a short profile of one of the amazing individuals who are working so hard to turn the bold vision behind Green School into a reality. In this issue, we are proud to introduce to you one of our classroom teachers, Lee Wood from Maui, Hawaii.

Campus Chorus

What’s it really like here at Green School? Listen to some of the sounds that wind their way through our beautiful (and growing) campus: the frogs that sing all night; the workers building our classrooms; the animals that live on neighboring farms.
