Learning Support and ESL

Green School is an inclusive learning environment that admits students from various backgrounds with a wide variety of skills, strengths and aptitudes.  As we understand that every child learns differently, our Learning Support team is available to students requiring additional assistance due to a learning challenge.  Students with learning challenges are admitted to Green School when our Learning Support team is equipped to meet their needs given current demand.  In the event that a student requires a full time assistant or aide, Green School tuition does not cover this cost; instead, parents are wholly responsible for sourcing and covering the costs of such learning support.

ESL support is also available to students from whom English is a foreign language.  The cost of ESL support is not included in the Green School tuition.  Students requiring ESL support are given a language assessment prior to being admitted to Green School.  Parents are informed as to the costs and duration of ESL support after a language assessment has been conducted.
